Our Licensing Team has traveled all over the country in the first six months of the year to attend the biggest tradeshows of 2010, which include the International Housewares Show in Chicago, the National Hardware Show and Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and the Craft and Hobby Association Show in Anaheim, Calif.
Davison executives took full advantage of the opportunities to strengthen and build corporate relationships, as they met with companies and corporate clients, many of whom presented Davison-designed products and packaging solutions to buyers. Overall, the new products were very well received.
“An added benefit to attending trade shows is being able to find possible homes for client products (past and present),” said the President of Davison.
“The Licensing Department’s motto “We Try Longer’ holds true every time we attend a show and find a company that could be a match for a product we developed years ago.”
“What really opened up my eyes at the (Housewares) show is how powerful the Davison name is becoming in the design world,” said the Vice President of Licensing. “It was great to see that some of our strategic partners in the manufacturing industry are really pushing the Davison name and Davison products.”
