Davison Employees Raise More Than $3,000 for Bowl for Kid’s Sake

PITTSBURGH – March 21, 2007 – Last week, Davison Design and Development employees raised several thousand dollars for the area Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kid’s Sake event in Harmar.

Thirty-six employees came together for the event, bringing in $3,660 for the charitable organization that offers the largest one-to-one youth mentoring services in the United States. Davison annually organizes its employees to participate in the event as one of many ways the company helps local charity groups.

The event ended with more than $150,000 in total donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Davison Design and Development is a new product development company and home of Inventionland, a unique innovative workspace. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette recently ranked Davison as one of the city’s Top 50 Best Places to Work. Last year the firm, which helps inventors, corporations and entrepreneurs, was recognized by the Industrial Designers Society of America and BusinessWeek magazine, winning two Industrial Design Excellence Awards.
