Overview

Davison is an award-winning product development firm located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, that builds product samples and presents them to corporations for review using our exclusive method. The Davison method of building ideas into products makes the process affordable for inventors, corporations and entrepreneurs.

Starting out from a basement in Southwestern Pennsylvania in 1989, Davison now occupies more than 100,000 square feet of factory and office space, including Inventionland, a cutting-edge development facility where all facets of the inventive process take place under one roof - and in a Disneyesque setting that inspires creativity.

    Davison provides high-quality product development services to individuals in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom who have new product ideas. Our goal is to provide research and development services at a reasonable cost.

    Davison International accommodates corporations that seek to create new products, innovate existing lines of products, or that desire consulting services from our talented staff.

Our Awards

  • In 2008, Davison's 360° Wrist Therapy Brace received an honorable mention in the Consumer Products category of I.D. Magazine's 54th Annual Design Review.
  • In 2007, Davison's Jack 'N Stand received an honorable mention in I.D. Magazine's 53rd Annual Design Review.
  • Davison's Inventionland was honored as one of I.D. Magazine's "40 Creative Workspaces" in 2007.
  • In total, Davison has won three Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) from Industrial Designers Society of America and BusinessWeek magazine:
    • Davison won two IDEA awards in July 2006 for the BikeBoard and the Hover Creeper.
    • The company received its first IDEA award in 1997 for the Oil Filter Gripper.
