Overview

Davison is an award-winning product development firm located just outside of Pittsburgh that builds product samples and presents them to corporations for review using an exclusive process. Stepping out from a basement in Southwestern Pennsylvania in 1989, it now occupies more than 100,000 square feet of factory and office space, including Inventionland, a cutting-edge development facility that inspires creativity.

    Davison provides individuals in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom who have new product ideas with high-quality product development services. Our goal is to provide research and development services at a reasonable cost.
  • Davison International
    Davison International can accommodate corporations seeking to create new products, innovate existing lines of products or consulting services from our talented staff.

Our Awards

  • Davison's Inventionland was honored as one of I.D. magazine's "40 Creative Workspaces" in the winter of 2007.
  • In the summer of 2007, Davison's Jack 'N Stand received an honorable mention in I.D. magazine's 53rd Annual Design Review.
  • In total, Davison has won three Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) from Industrial Designers Society of America and BusinessWeek magazine. Davison won two IDEA awards in July 2006 for the BikeBoard and the Hover Creeper. The company received its first IDEA award in 1997 for the Oil Filter Gripper.
