Swing Magic

A Better Way to Strain Spaghetti

Davison Produced Product Invention: Swing Magic

The Problem:

Draining spaghetti from a cumbersome pot of boiling water is a difficult task, even for skilled cooks. It can be daunting to lift, carry and flip a large pot filled with hot water and food without losing any of the food or being burned by the water.

Davison's Better Way:

The Swing Magic solves the problem by incorporating two of the most essential kitchenware items: a strainer and a pot. With a simple move of the wrist and a slight tilt, the Swing Magic’s strainer juts outs from the pot, allowing water to drain easily from the strainer. The product also can be used for steaming, rinsing and serving food, and a user can keep food warm and ready to serve simply by flipping the pot over top of the strainer. In addition, the compact Swing Magic is easy to store and has a non-stick surface, so cleaning is swift and effortless.

This is a corporate invention and the same 9-step Davison Inventing Method is used to develop each idea, for idea people who work with us on their ideas or corporations that ask us to invent for them.
