This continued to be true for one Tampa Bay, Florida mother who invented a unique baking pan that brings two all-American classics – hamburgers and hot dogs – together in a way that not only culminated into a new invention, but brings innovation to cooking and recipes.

This isn’t just any inventor story. This is the story of a Davison inventor who found a better way to combine two cookout favorites into one, in a healthier way.

For Davison client, Ingrid, the ingredients in hot dogs were particularly troubling. Though often a crowd favorite, Ingrid wanted to find a better way to make a healthier hot dog alternative.

After having been to many summer cookouts, Ingrid came up with an idea for a pan that would shape ground meat into the form of a hot dog. The pan would drain the grease during the cooking process and the final product would be a healthier alternative to a hot dog that would still preserve the convenient, easy-to-eat shape.

After being licensed to Love Cooking Company under their Chef Tony Notaro line of healthy cooking bakeware, Ingrid got to see and hold her final product in its packaging, with her idea turned invention all the more real.

If this isn’t exciting enough, Ingrid and her story were featured in a recent Tampa Bay Times’ article, which outlines the invention’s pending debut on QVC’s In the Kitchen with David and the hopes that Ingrid has for not only this invention, but also the “book full of inventions” that she’s been saving up for, in order to pursue.

In the invention industry, things change; they evolve.

This sentiment holds especially true for the Mega Bacon Pan, which evolved from our client Jean’s Meatball Baker.

Last month, the Mega Bacon Pan was featured on QVC’s “In the Kitchen with David.”

QVC host David Venable was intrigued and excited about the Davison-designed product! During the segment, Chef Tony showcased the possibilities with this innovative kitchen product, which included perfectly-cooked bacon, jerkies and even healthy chicken breasts!

The two-part pan with baking sheet and wire rack holds 18 slices of bacon and elevates each slice out of its own grease on a diagonal, so that the fats and oils can drain away for a crisp, flavorful piece of bacon!

“We say goodbye grease, hello flavor!” said Chef Tony, as he was showcasing the product to viewers across the country.

During the segment, both Chef Tony and David Venable showcased the perfectly-cooked bacon, which the pan allows to cook on its side.

While this sizzling news was exciting, this month, we want to use this QVC appearance as a lesson in confidence for those idea people who are working towards their invention dreams.

Chasing after your dreams requires discipline, knowledge and the courage to take the necessary steps in order to get you closer to your goals.

Did you catch “In the Kitchen with David” on QVC last night?

Let’s just say the show left us sizzling with excitement!

Culinary Professional Chef Tony Notaro was back in David Venable’s kitchen showing off one of our latest baking product ideas, the Bacon Baker!

Dubbed the Bacon Bakin’ Pan by Chef Tony, the innovative product that we designed stemmed from our client Jean’s Meatball Baker idea. It provides a Better Way to make healthier bacon by vertically-baking bacon and elevating each individual slice out of its own grease.

Even before the dynamic duo debuted the Bacon Bakin’ Pan, Venable was hyping up the innovative product early in the show, tantalizing viewers with the “brand new way to cook divine swine.”

Once Chef Tony began touting the product that we created at our design facility and showing off just what the Bacon Bakin’ Pan can do, incredible sales immediately followed.

Within minutes, 500 Bacon Bakin’ Pans had sold.

Chef Tony and Venable continued to showcase perfectly cooked bacon, which the pan allows to cook on its side, preserving “all the flavor without the guilt,” as Chef Tony noted.

QVC viewers heard his message and by the time the segment was over, 1,800 of the 8,500 available pans remained and Venable said the phone lines remained “super busy.”

He wasn’t kidding! Only moments later, QVC.com read, “We’re sorry, this item is not available at this time.” Yes, that’s right! The Bacon Bakin’ Pan sold out on its debut QVC appearance!

We couldn’t be more excited for our client, Jean, Chef Tony and the entire team that worked to bring the innovative Bacon Bakin’ Pan to QVC!

The Chef Tony Meatloaf Pan is back and we can’t help but check in on the tried-and-true Love Cooking Company product that we designed at our very own invention factory, Inventionland.

Culinary Professional Chef Tony Notaro has been touting this innovative product on QVC for months, and lately, it’s been stuffed with an overload of five-star customer reviews!

Maybe that’s why the product is ranked as a QVC “best seller?”

Here are a few of the latest five-star reviews for the Chef Tony Meatloaf Pan:

In a review titled “Works Like Magic,” Kris65 said,“What a creative little pan; we now get a variety of meatloaves with [an] easy-to-use pan with easy clean up.”

One anonymous poster said it all in her review, “Excellent Quality.”

“This is a quality bakeware pan. Not only does it perform well when baking a meatloaf, it’s also a terrific pan for my Irish brown bread recipe and pound cake, cornbread, etc. Loved the recipes for meatloaf (the feta cheese/spinach and mac/cheese are my favorites). Directions for stuffing are easy to follow. Way to go, Chef Tony!!”said the person behind the post.

Another satisfied customer, Venice, went so far as saying the Miracle Meatloaf Pan was her “Best Purchase Ever.”

“I used the pan for the first time, loved it; it works and the meatloaf came out clean,” said Venice.

In a post titled, “Fun Pan,” KelseyKirby said the pan helped to turn her tastes toward meatloaf.

Well, you don’t get monthly QVC appearances if QVC shoppers don’t have some great “stuff” to say about your product! So, today, we’d like to take a look at just some of the reasons why the Davison-designed Miracle Meatloaf Pan carries such an awesome customer-review rating on QVC’s website.

Take it from “Grandma Andy,” who titled her four-star review

“Hubby Loves it.”

You may recall that the Miracle Meatloaf Pan has been featured on QVC twice already this year. Culinary Professional Chef Tony Notaro first featured the Miracle Meatloaf Pan on QVC’s “In the Kitchen with David” in January and the pan sold out in less than 10 minutes. The Davison-designed stuffed meatloaf pan was back on QVC in June and it sold over 7,000 units!

We decided to check back in on the pan to see what other users have had to say about it.

Were you “In the Kitchen with David” on Sunday, March 30? QVC’s popular kitchen show featured the Jade No-Burn Pan that was designed at Inventionland for the Love Cooking Company and the revolutionary new cooking product did not disappoint!

QVC host David Venable, along with Culinary Professional and Jade No-Burn Pan spokesman Chef Tony Notaro showcased the many capabilities of the seven-in-one pan.

At one point in the piece, Chef Tony referred to the pan’s kitchen capabilities saying, “It’s absolutely mind-blowing!”

To prove just how much the Jade No-Burn Pan can do, the dynamic kitchen duo demonstrated several dishes, including everything from grilled chicken and sausage to sauteed rice and macaroni and cheese.

After only seven minutes on the air, Venable let viewers know that 1,000 pans had already been purchased and that the phone lines continued to ring off the hook!

Speaking of phones ringing, Chef Tony gave an awesome everyday example of just why the Jade No-Burn Pan can benefit anyone who cooks with it.

“If you get a phone call or the kids call you and you get distracted, you don’t have to worry about the food burning,” said Chef Tony.

Sound unbelievable? Chef Tony thought so, too… until he cooked with the pan.

“When they first told me about this pan… I didn’t believe it, till I cooked with it. Now, I’m sold,” said Chef Tony.

While the secret is not in the sauce, it  IS inside of the pan! Part of Sunday’s demonstration included showing off the revolutionary jade technology that allows the pan to heat up to medium heat and maintain that temperature, making it impossible to burn your food.

“It is an amazing little piece of technology…,” said Venable. “It regulates the perfect medium heat.”

The Jade No-Burn Pan is now available in black, platinum, copper and red varieties. Venable suggested that there may be even more options for the pan in the future.

“This is just the first of more to come, if you guys tell us you like it,” said Venable.
