Six Davison Design Clients Brainstorm Products with CEO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PITTSBURGH – September 14, 2006 – Six Davison Design and Development clients recently brainstormed new product ideas with Davison CEO during a private tour of the Pittsburgh facility.

Six inventors of Davison-developed products visited InventionLand for a private tour with founder and CEO G.M. Davison, 42. During the tour, the group sat down to brainstorm new product ideas with Davison.

“If we come up with something out of this,” Davison told the group, “everyone is cut in on the future royalties.”

Davison Design and Development uses its Exclusive Process to turn ideas into products that can be presented to a corporation. The clients all used Davison’s exclusive method when pursuing their products.

The group of inventors included Southern California’s John Iavarone, creator of the BikeBoard, which recently earned international recognition with a bronze 2006 Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA). The IDEA is an annual design competition cosponsored by BusinessWeek magazine and the Industrial Designers Society of America. As well, the Hover Creeper, also designed by Davison’s team of Inventionmen, won a silver concept IDEA.

Also present for the tour was Christopher Seeley, inventor of the OverBoiler Clip; Ruth and Gary Frazier of central Pennsylvania, inventors of the Twister Caps and Twister Bolts; Florida’s Curtis Hargrove, creator of the Personal Air Freshener; Raul Rubalcava of California, inventor of the Wine Butler; and southwestern Pennsylvania’s Judith Chmielewski, creator of SAF-T – an illuminated addition to the bottom of canes and walkers.

The team of inventors created six concepts during the hour-long brainstorm. The ideas were earmarked for an entertainment company. All of the concepts were sent to the patent and research divisions of Davison.

All six concepts will go directly from research into design for continuing development.

InventionLand, Davison’s latest creation, is slated for a November public opening.
