Davison-developed Products Gain Footing in Northern Tool Company Stores

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PITTSBURGH – August 3, 2006 –Pittsburgh-developed tool products have gained footing in a large international tool distributor.

Davison Design and Development’s line of products developed for the Lehigh Group’s Crawford have helped gained four additional feet of shelf space in the more than 50 Northern Tool Company stores in 11 states.

Northern Tool – which boasts selling more than 15,000 products in stores, its catalog and its online store – also sells its products in Canada and the United Kingdom. While Crawford products were already being sold in the store, six new products developed by Davison will be added to its repertoire.

The products include the Magna Jar, designed to hold up to a pound of screws, bolt, nuts, etc. in a small jar with a magnetic lid. The lid is designed to attach to any metal surface, and since the magnet doesn’t magnetize the contents of the jar, the magnet’s charge won’t be weakened. Also featured in the line are three pegboard organizers, a pencil/tape measurer holder, a drill holder and a towel holder. Additionally, the Magna Bin mounts to tool boxes with divider trays to hold workshop contents.
