VW has revealed its newest transportation design: the bicycle. This foldable, compact electric bike has a range of a little over 12 miles, and cruises at a little over 12 mph. It derives its energy from the vehicle, not needing to plug into a socket or be removed from the vehicle to charge. I hope this concept becomes a reality.

A 36O-degree view while riding a motorcycle is priceless. But now that the world’s first patented rear view mirror helmet is available, you will have to shell out $38O. This purely mechanical, camera-free design reveals a clear view at the brow of the rider to see what is directly behind them. Clever design I must say.

Pebble, the breathable sleep surface by Nook, has got a really good thing going on. They have designed a soft, asymmetrical mattress surface with enough nooks and crannies to provide airflow for infants so you need not worry when you lay your baby down at night.
Named for the appearance of its functional, textured surface, Pebble is a very responsible design for parents everywhere. Oh, and it is washable, breathable, non-toxic and has a wool fire barrier, as well.

These spiral paper note pads called Bloc Notes are a real fresh approach to office supply design. This transparent drain system makes seeing the problem beneath your sink possible. Made of a transparent ABS, you can view the clog, manually churn the debris with a simple twist of the hand and avoid using unneeded, harsh chemicals.
In the case of lost jewelry, you can retrieve a lost ring or earring by visually locating it and then reversing the paddle with the hand crank to keep it from passing down the drain.

Marketed as a vice-free alternative to keeping your projects in place as you work, Bench Cookies are a slip-free, non-marking, high friction support.
You can sand, rout, cut and carve without worrying about marring up the surface of what you are working on. (They look to be a great way to manage furniture on wood floor surfacing too).
