Davison Creators interviewed Johnny Strategy, the New York/ Japan design blogger back in 2009.  Since hearing news that his second home was hit by an earthquake and tsunami, Johnny has discovered many ways that the design world is pitching in.

Limited run prints and posters, such as the ones shown here, are a way to encourage others to make a donation.  I thought this post was worth passing on to our readers and maybe some Davison Creators can find a way to help.  Hit this link to see more from Spoon & Tamago.

still photography

I Art U is a website that has dedicated Fridays to a series of color-themed photo shoots. Every still life is focused on a spectrum of color and is arranged in a very eye-catching manner. The unique juxtaposition of each object, along with perfect lighting, make every fresh picked piece of produce or texture rich surface come alive in Technicolor.

Here are a few creative ways to find new clients. Using spring-loaded cardboard boxes, static cling decals and stickers, these companies are showing future clientele how vulnerable they can be. I imagine if you come home to see a package inside your doorway, a crack in the glass of your car windshield or a crowbar prying into your front door you may take a second look at insuring your property. Clever, and a gutsy way to persuade people, I suppose.
