Sometimes the only advantage of what you sell, is how you sell it. Take a look at how selling the ordinary can be better for business, when you sell it extraordinarily. Flinging fried dough, tricky ice cream scooping, onion volcanoes and twirling pizza dough – Each one of these people has found a very creative way to sell.
There are so many great layouts of ingredients in this collection, I did not know where to begin. Each one of these images was created through delicate, precise composition, using the foods that make up a particular dish. Each one consists of ingredients in their purest form, displayed in a great use of color, texture and pattern.
I know that sushi is a traditional Japanese food, but look what a German design firm has done to bring the process of making sushi into the 21st century. This is a great new application to an established mechanism used to roll tobacco, but it is still clever.
Now anyone can roll sushi, or anything for that matter. I’d love to try to roll a few desserts, or make lasagna rolls, with this!
Work on this scale usually is done by jewelers and fine artists but, in this case, it is the work of culinary artisan Stephanie Kilgast. These thimble-sized works of art would be a trick-of-the-eye if not for scale references such as coins, matches and fingers to show their actual size. Great detail and creative vision went into creating these tasty works of art.
