Bike racks don’t have to be boring. Here are 20 creative ways that Dero has designed bike racks for use by communities and businesses.
The OnBike is as stealth as can be. Hidden cables, hidden chain and a finish as dark as night. The design even utilizes an off-center fork, a maintenance-free gear box and disc brakes to show off its unique composition. This bike is a smoke screen or oil slick spray away from being the official ride of Bruce Wayne himself.

This bicycle built for three is a great design, made with the whole family in mind. Though it does look like a Duchamp painting come to life, this three-seater will definitely turn a few heads. It makes me wonder how many customized bikes like this have turned out from someone’s garage; it looks like it could pass for something from the 1920’s.

I always thought that the kinetic powered bike lights were a cool design; then I saw this. Although only a theory, the design should work. This concept uses the motion of the bike tire to spin a felt wheel that drops a trail of colored chalk from a hopper. The end result is a colorful trail that shows other riders and drivers where bicyclists have traveled. A nice way to leave your mark, a great way to find your way back, and a perfect way to promote safe riding practices. But, again, it is only in the concept stage, so we will have to wait!

This innovative design for a bike lane that goes wherever you go is brilliant! This is one of those great inventions I always end up finding and saying to myself, “how clever, I should have thought of that!” If they could only project shadows for daylight use, they’re golden!
