With all of the complains about Facebook’s re-formatting, in particular, the social website’s new profile layout — is there anything you can do? Well, this guy has turned lemons into lemonade.
Artie Isaac, an instructor at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio, has taken advantage of the new layout by forming a series of photos that collectively create his profile photo. He is using a cleverly crafted template of sequenced, fragmented images to make it appear as if he is looking through a window. Now that is how you create a stand-out profile!
If you care to make yours look as creative, search online to find one of the many templates to break up your standard Facebook profile picture.

This advertising genius comes from the same agency that created Nike’s legendary Just Do It campaign and the famous The Man You Could Smell Like campaign for Old Spice. This Rube Goldgerg-esque sequence challenged teams of videographers and engineers to rely on precision and timing.
Can you imagine spending two months sketching hundreds of conceptual drawings, then staging four months of practical testing using only Honda car parts to create this kinetic masterpiece? Some of the shots needed calibration down to 1/16th of an inch! That’s a challenge in itself – not to mention the humidity and ambient temperatures that the crew had to take into consideration.
This creative team has already crafted a follow-up, The Impossible Dream, which chronicles a stuntman who takes viewers through an entire action-packed showcase of 20 products designed by Honda. One hit after the other for Honda thanks to advertising agency, Wieden + Kennedy. My favorite part of this is at the end when the narrator says, “What good is dreaming it, if you don’t actually do it?” Perfect.
