This is the work of Japanese-born, Italian designer Naoki Hirakos. These pieces are very complimentary with both sweeping curves and abrupt angles. The storage space is unimaginable in the first piece, with an endless combination of cubbys.

This takes the term “mug shot” to the next level! This artwork, created by Hong Yi, is made entirely by the rings of a coffee mug.
Yi, better known as Red Hong, is quoted as saying, “I love to create art. Not with the usual paint brush and watercolor and pencils though – I like to grab whatever I can get hold of – rocks, ketchup, milk, salt, shirts – and turn them into art. It’s more fun that way!”

Conceived as a means of fundraising at a college gallery show, these three-legged birdhouses have gone on to become popular collectibles.
These birdhouses are made in two varieties; one is an indoor version made of walnut and the other is an outdoor version made of teak.
Standing on three legs, these smooth, soft structures are easy on the eyes, as well as functional for birds of all kinds.
