Davison Ranked as One of Pittsburgh’s Top 50 Best Places to Work

PITTSBURGH – March 20, 2007 – In a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette employee-submitted survey, Davison Design and Development ranked as one of Pittsburgh’s “Top 50 Best Places to Work.”

Based on the online survey, featured at the Post-Gazette’s Web site, Davison ranked 50th in the category of companies with 50 to 500 employees. Nearly 3,000 area employees ranked offices and factories based on 10 characteristics, from family-friendly policies, flexible hours and ease of commute to pay, benefits and even food.

On the newspaper’s Web site, one Davison employee’s comment was featured:

“I have worked for a diverse array of companies. I have been here in Pittsburgh with Davison for almost two years, and it gets better as time passes. Just wait and see: This company is going to lead the city into a new era of innovation and prosperity. I will be here for the ride.”

Davison Design and Development is a new product development company and home of Inventionland, a unique innovative workspace. Last year the firm, which helps inventors, corporations and entrepreneurs, was recognized by the Industrial Designers Society of America and BusinessWeek magazine, winning two Industrial Design Excellence Awards.
